eskimo friend

while biking up 16th street on the way home from work today, i passed this guy who was biking on the sidewalk. about halfway up, i lost my staminerrr.r...momentum, and the guy passed me. but we re-met at the bottom of mount pleasant street. he was biking up the foot-wide median and i was biking in the right lane. i decided to spark some conversation as we rode tandem. "how do you keep such a steady pace up 16th?" etc etc etc. we small talked as we biked side-by-side and let cars pass when they came. then when lamont came, i said 'this is me' and veered to the right. it was fun. i decided i want a biking partner so i can own the road like that more often. and so I can combine two of my favorite activities - biking and talking.

wasn't capable of much else this evening after work except listening to damien rice whilst lying in bed. that's right, whilst. im doing a bit of reminiscing.
