I was just watching CNN and was actually impressed by their coverage of the impact of Israeli attacks on the civilians of Gaza. And then they had some ex-IDF dude commenting on the report saying that the only reason that so many civilians are dying is because Hamas makes a point of attacking from heavily-populated areas and the IDF has to respond. HELLO!!! There are 1.4 million people living in Gaza, which covers 139 square miles. That means there are more than 10,000 people living in every square mile of Gaza, and therefore ANYWHERE and everywhere is heavily populated.
There is the war on the ground and then there is the information war.
